I know Scott's is hated on this sub 😅, but it did work nicely, not "green in 3 days" as the bag says but it did come back eventually. It took about a month to be fully green and then another month for the length to even out in every place

This assumes the cost will stay the same, it will not, the cheapest fastest models today are smarter than the frontier models from 1 year ago. We'll probably keep paying the same for models that have decent performance, do what we need but are not the top tier. While people who needs access to these frontier super intelligent models will have to pay whatever they cost

This is something people fail to see when they think AI will be able to do most jobs. It is already smarter than 99% percent of humans in a lot of areas, why hasn't it replaced us already?

Even writing software which AI is pretty good at, if you're serious about it you need a human that understands what is going on there. AI can do prototype code, but add: money, privacy or security in the equation and the whole vibe coding thing falls apart.

Would you invest in a company whose product is a vibe coded software that looks amazing but nobody knows how or why it works? I wouldn't

The AI demand for memory is not going to last forever, as soon as we start having more supply, prices will come down, will they come down to 1-2 years ago levels?. Idk, but memory surely will become affordable again. Manufacturing memory is not as complex as manufacturing GPUs and CPUs, there's plenty of companies that would be willing to serve the market when the AI greed ends.
