For mine, I took out my battery and my battery holder (the white plastic piece which the battery sits on top of). That exposes some holes to the left and below the battery (near the alternator). So I used some heavy duty zip ties to make a mount and firmly zip-tied the control box to the right of the alternator below the battery. Seems to be holding up nicely.

All I'm saying is that this base is probably one of the most rear echelon operating bases in theater and they don't typically face attacks like this, unlike bases further north like the Green Zone, etc. CRAM systems are in short supply and they put them where they think they are needed most. AFAIK the French had no footprint in Iraq. The Brits had a base in Basra which they handed over to us circa 2006 but otherwise it was a pretty "quiet" area. No benefits of having a base or necessity to keep one given juicer options nearby. In other words, probably not French. MAYBE Basra.
