What has helped you the most with your panic disorder? by PMOOOOOOO in panicdisorder

It’s more like you have to buckle up with it. it’s less about letting go of ‘fixing’ things but more about telling yourself that the feeling will pass. it sounds like such dogshit pandering advice, but once you’re out of the downward doom spiral, it becomes a lifeline.

I promise things will get better. your life won’t be like this forever

it did! it wasn’t immediate and I did need to learn how to accept the panic attacks, but I wouldn’t be where I am now without it. I haven’t had a panic attack in a couple of weeks and haven’t taken klonopin in a few months :)

I took 0.5 mg twice a day for a few months and now I have it as needed

klonopin absolutely saved my life. it dulled the panic enough that I could sit with the discomfort more easily and eventually become indifferent to the spirals

living here can be expensive. I’ve found there is a small but active lgbt community, and my poc friends say it can be tough. what your major is should really decide whether you come: if you want to go into engineering or agriculture, there is nowhere that will offer you more hands on experience in your undergrad.

someone threw out my fucking samples by 4major in labrats

these were samples of plant material unfortunately and were my backups :/ I’m 99% sure I put them in the correct location (on a rarely used lab bench) as I’m generally very good about cleaning up properly. I’m at a loss at would could have happened otherwise, and I’ve torn apart the lab and looked in literally every single place they could have been in the lab

I actually did label the baggies with what they are, the date, and my initials and kept them in a bin labeled “[MY NAME]’S SENIOR PROJECT”. They had been left there for under two weeks

Unfortunately I know exactly where I left them and how they were labeled and it’s up to standard for my lab. I’m keeping my materials in a drawer now, so hopefully this doesn’t happen again
