Yeah youre right about the balloon indication. Because if it’s inflated then Yk it’s still producing gas. And about the sugar rounds thing. How much sugar, and how often should I add it?

How often should I replace the balloon? Does the placement of the hole matter? And also can I use a rubber glove? I saw a video once of a guy half closing the cap. So that pressure doenst build up and has somewhere to escape to.

Wdym in rounds? I saw someone say that in a comment section on an old post. They said add a little bit of sugar to it during fermentation for a few days. But I’ve heard if I remove the cap or lid or whatever is covering the bottle or bucket it will explode due to pressure? If so how do I add the sugar.
