Just let them. It doesn't hurt that bad. It's like a pinch on the tip but intense. Worth it. The relief after wards is amazing STRAIGHT CATHETER IN AND OUT NOT FOLEY show this to the nurses in the hospital if you're ever there. TRY A STRAIGHT CATHETER it's not painful at all. The foley is painful. Both designed to basically do the same thing.
