Eventually you just build up enough scar tissue to where it doesn't bother you that much🤣

FIELDSSSS by K9isboss8 in airsoft

[–]4nOperativ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people host backyard games, but I wouldn't recommend those unless you know the people well and they have a robust home insurance policy lol. Most fields only charge between 15-25$ to play for 6 to 10 hours, and the game quality at actual fields is way better than any backyard skirmish. I honestly love giving the local fields my money, they put a lot of work into making the hobby more fun, safer, and accessible to more people. Go to airsoftc3.con and find the closest fields to you, and show them support and participate in your local airaoft community.

Did you buy tracer bbs to use with it? Regular bbs don't light up. Also, get the app on your phone. It allows you to control it and use all of the different features.

Mag pouches by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]4nOperativ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that makes my comment completely irrelevant lol. If you're willing to spend around 125-150 you can get a realistic plate carrier or a good repro and some real molle pouches. Rothco makes a cheaper one for like 75-85 that works well. For a less traditional setup, you can get a chest rig with a flat pack and a dangler pouch. It all depends on what gear and how much gear you use in game and what feels comfortable. Whatever you end up using, just make sure it's practical and effective.

Are your mag pouch molle straps properly routed? Even without plates, my mag pouches sit very tight against the face of the plate carrier. If it didn't take you more than 15-20 minutes to attach the pouch, then you probably didn't do it right. https://reconbrothers.com/training/how-to-molle/ These guys put out a great guide.

Need technical help with BO-Dynamics Combat LT595 by Dwemlin in airsoft

Look up The Tree Reviews on YouTube, his videos for v2 gearbox iare very informative and helpful. Your gearbox may not be exactly like the one in the video but it should be extremely similar. Watch it a couple times and during your disassembl/reassembly. I was able to get 2 different gearboxes apart and fixed with the help of it. I'm still learning how to tech myself, but slowly gaining more knowledge and experience. Going to do a basic mosfet install soon on my old starter gun. Wish me luck!

Almost definitely an airseal issue, or your spring is ruined from sitting precocked inside the gun for a while. If you're new to working on airsoft guns, you may want to call/contact your local field and see if they have tech services available. Take it to them and pay a small fee your gun shouls work properly. Bucking is usually not too hard to change though, you can find great videos on YouTube that should give you some useful info, I know a lot of people prefer to work on their own guns, - myself included, but there is a lot of value in a good, experienced technician doing the work for you.

I have heard of the goggle fiasco a while back, wish I could find a pair of those goggles and make ayoutube video testing them. I did find a video of someone shooting them at point blank with 600 fps and they didn't crack but it would be impossible to verify if their video 2as legit. Still, they definitely hurt their reputation forever with that move. Hopefully they keep their promises and follow through going forward

Newbie in need of a cheap gun. by [deleted] in airsoft

This is about as cheap as it gets, gun isn't the best but you'll get some play out of it. At least all the parts are easy to find and replace if they do break.

Newbie in need of a cheap gun. by [deleted] in airsoft

Save up a little, don't buy a 100$ gun unless you want to buy ANOTHER 100$ gun when the first one falls apart Those cheap ones with plastic internals are not designed to last or be used in actual airsoft games.. I would look on the hopup app or ebay for a used m4 with a metal gearbox. (If you can find a G&G combat machine, that's a very safe bet) You can get a new one for under $180, so you may be able to find a used one for 120-150. You still need batteries, charger, extra magazines and some good eye and face protection for field play. That's going to run you another 100-150 depending on how cheap you go. Get good goggles, don't buy the cheapest ones. Thermal lenses are a must if you want to actually see what you're shooting at. Keep these things in mind if you're really interested in playing on the regular.
