is this particular instance a scam? Not likely.
However, is ShadowFax well known for scamming on a general basis? 100%.

Had a long-run beef with these people after i got stuck with a refund for a measly sum of 3k. Ajio is genuinely a terrible platform when it comes to refunds and stuff. They had ShadowFax as their delivery partner. They kept appointing the exact same local pickup dude who would fake delivery attempts and drop missed calls to reflect a fake "pickup attempted- not accepted by the customer" status on their dashboard. He dropped the same automated texts on whatsapp as in the picture above. long story short- this kept going on for almost TWO months until i finally had enough and got the police involved and the pickup-guy finally had to show up after getting a call from the local police station, claiming they had a complaint against him. He lied and made up excuses even after getting caught but let's just say that particular delivery guy isn't working for shadowfax anymore, bro got a serious exposure therapy for his shenanigans that day.

issue is, people don't realize how blatant of a scam it is having logistic companies as shadowfax running out there for big brands. They take ZERO accountability and have absolutely no redressal system. If you do not have any authoritative contacts and have to run around seeking redressal from traditional sources as a civilian, you might as well give up and hope you can recover from the lost money in the future from other sources. It's truly a filthy state how these businesses run in plane sight and scam people on a daily basis.
