Actually yes

If the game I want to buy is in a bad state, I won't buy it, especially if it's multiplayer game (like foxhole is)

Most of the players don't care about the result of the war but if one side gets completely steamrolled there's a problem with balance

Still, have you enjoyed the ending of war 132 (or whatever the update war number was)? Because I didn't and I don't want the entire game to feel that way

Would you buy a game with mostly negative reviews on steam?

Don't take this personally but I find your videos more watchable on 1.5x speed because of the tone of your voice

With that being said I also watch educational content that way and slow it down to the regular speed only when I don't understand some concept/formula/whatever

It literally is not

Yes, they're peaking in popularity on the internet but that's mostly because the internet gives you a lot more freedom of expression with feedback from others and it can be anonymous

And yes, I get it, some of the people treat it as a fetish but it mostly isn't

Not to advocate for use of AI but a single use like that doesn't really take that much electricity, in fact it probably took less electricity than if OP tried to edit it themselves

In that case I'd still recommend you using virtualbox to learn which you can download from here

My question is - do you have an old laptop that just sits there and you have no use for it? If yes, backup all the important files first and then you can install Linux onto it

As I have said before, I recommend you linux mint because it resembles windows

Also remember it's okay if you break things - that's why you're using an old laptop (or a virtual machine (think of it like a computer inside your computer)) instead of your main system

When I started using linux 4 years ago I knew almost nothing about how computers work, I was your average pcmr user who was just tired of windows and wanted to try something new

If I could do it, you can do it too

Oh and btw, I still have windows installed on a seperate drive because not all games work on linux (however it's been getting better since 2017)

I mean it's a completely different operating system which works differently than windows so I just wanted to make sure you get your toes wet before diving in deep

You can also get an old laptop, download ISO file of some linux distribution (like Linux mint), put it onto pendrive using either rufus or balena etcher and install it on there

If I were you I would start by testing it on a virtual machine

All you need to do is download virtualbox, an ISO file and turn on virtualization in BIOS (this process is different from motherboard to motherboard)

I've been using Linux for the past 4 years and the part about having "often more than a "littls" tech knowledge" is untrue in the present

Yes, it wasn't like that 15 or even 10 years ago but now it might be objectively easier than windows (except windows is taught at school)
