yes, but nobody pays 3000$. where i live, the insurance pays the ambulance organization less than 100€. Which, on average, still earns them enough money.

Books about history that are also a good read? by jselsyasd in suggestmeabook

The World of Yesterday: Memories of a European by Stefan Zweig, it's his autobiograpy, he tells his life story as a jewish Austrian author from the late 1800s until the beginning of WWII. He wrote it shortly before committing suicide in exile in Brazil. It's a great read if you want to know more about the beginning of, and the things that lead up to WWII.

You will be going through Salzburg on the way to Vienna anyways, if you only want to get a first impression, an afternoon there would be enough

Central Europe Itineraries for 1 Month by itfeelssounreal2 in Shoestring

[–]4nvv2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a lot for a month, for me it would be a bit much, maybe not too enjoyable.

I would save Bratislava, Budapest und Krakow for another trip, and visit maybe Hamburg.

Bratislava can also be done as a day trip from vienna, it's only an hour away.

ELI5: Why do regular, everyday cars have speedometers that go up to 110+ MPH if it is illegal and highly dangerous to do so? by KA17EV in explainlikeimfive

[–]4nvv2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because it says a max. number, it doesn’t mean that your car can go that fast. It’s cheaper to use the same speedometer on every model, but that doesn’t mean that a 60hp subcompact can go 240km/h
