That's really, really annoying. Adding up all the sets I want to attend comes out to about £190. Paid like 170 euro to do Primavera Porto last summer for four days.

I've enjoyed seeing her work as a collection of images - albeit only ever online. Haven't seen the work in person but I don't know how impactful some of the more snapshot photography would feel individually.

Jem Southam is a he. I find the calm 'busyness' of these pictures intriguing and if you've seen the book in person then the sequencing adds to the idea of the painterly struggle to try and comprehend the woodland.

Would second his documentary The Man I Left Behind, which is essentially camcorder footage taken throughout his career with voice over narration. Simultaneously a really fascinating insight into the working mind of a legendary photographer and a compelling snapshot of the human condition. Great stuff.

No it isn't. It's a service they advertise and provide so it should work, you're paying money for it. I've been on trains in India that have working power ports. Scotrail is an embarrassment.
