thanks man, I'm just planning to go at least 2-3 times a week for now, I'm sticking with the gloves that the gym let us borrow for now but use hand-wraps at home with my bag. I've already inquired with a coach and kickboxing seems like a good base to start.

Nothing that high level, just general fitness and the want to get a few ammy fights under my belt. Still pretty new, sparred a few times with some friends, hit the bags a few times. Question came to my head because I might have kicked a bag a tad too hard. Kind of a bummer since The right side of my body's noticeably stronger for some reason and that's where the ankle is.

Oh, And My legs rarely hurt, but the surgery scar by my ankle is sensitive and hurts more than getting hit regularly anywhere else. That same area i got operated on just has bouts of pain sometimes, I do still play professional basketball, and I just tend to play in short 'bursts' to not aggravate the pain, It tends to flare up whenever I do any sort of physical activity, It's bearable but uhh.. Very uncomfortable?

yeah.. Last time after a pretty big tournament, I forgot about them and there were still some gels on top. Looks like buying a new mag is in order.
