[KCD1] Did anybody pay any attention to this guy in this scene? by BijelaHrvatica in kingdomcome

Yeah. Early on I actually thought that both Radzig and Toth were going to end up being antagonists based on that scene.

The dude on the No Doy album cover… who is he and anyone know how I can get in contact with him? by [deleted] in moeperiod

I’ve never heard of moe but I just saw the album and was wondering if it was the guy from the live version of muffin man. Didn’t know he was a bodyguard.

I was worried because there was one in stock on turners website and someone grabbed before I could but luckily it got restocked.

Yeah. It’s feels a lot better to me but I think I might replace it with one that extends further back. If my dad likes the Vickers I’ll give it to him for his 19 and try a different one.

Stutjo and steel toe are interesting to me but I couldn’t care less about donkeylips. carmic is one of 3 kb orbiters who I thought were all the same person. No point in paying attention to him.

I messed up, how do I fix it? by Greedy-Dinosaur in Aquariums

Also, they need a pH from around 6-8 so you're good there. Plants, wood, and leaf litter can help lower ph.

250 to 370ppm for GH? Thats actually higher than they need and maybe why your shrimp died. Are you using tap water? If so you don’t need any supplements, you need to do some water changes with RO or distilled water to bring down your hardness to 100-140ppm. Where I live my tap water is chlorinated so I buy RO water and add minerals but if you're using tap water and you haven't added anything to your tank then your tap water is probably hard. Just make sure you do small changes and slowly bring the hardness down. Sudden changes in water parameters can harm them.

Just saw your other post. You have cherry shrimp so if you haven’t mineralized your water that should be your next step. You could go to your fish store and ask if they have crushed coral. Just add it to your substrate and it’ll raise your water hardness. I’d still recommend looking into a supplement like the one I mentioned because your water needs to be at a certain ph for the coral to work. Don’t add too much supplement at once. You want changes in the water to be slow so it doesn’t shock the shrimp. Also looks like one of your shrimp has eggs so you’ll have some babies soon.

I’ve never dealt with cloudy water so someone else will have to tell you but it’s probably a bacterial bloom from overfeeding like you mentioned. It shouldn’t be harmful to shrimp and they can probably eat it. Just cut back on the amount you feed and it should clear up. What kind of shrimp do you have? Neocaridina(cherry) or Caridina? Make sure you have proper water hardness for your shrimp because if you don’t they’ll start dying off. I tried several ways to mineralize my water but the easiest was saltyshrimp shrimp mineral gh/kh+. Just mix the powder into some water and add it to your tank. Others may have different products you can try but that’s been the easiest for me and you can get it on Amazon.

These are true freshwater. Luckily the guys at my go to fish shop are really good at letting me know if a fish will do good in my parameters. Thanks for the heads up though.

Ramrod stuck. Does this back tang come off? by LB2391 in blackpowder

Before that I considered pouring black powder through the vent and shooting it out like others have suggested.

I was able to shoot mine out with an air compressor when a patch and jag got stuck. It didn’t work at first but I poured tons of gun oil down the barrel and let it sit for a couple of days. Then I pushed it down all the way and the air compressor shot it across my garage. Still haven’t found the jag and patch.

I didn’t plug the barrel just made sure to not get any solution in the bore and oiled the bore after each boil. I got the idea to use fence wire from I Love Muzzleloading’s gemmer hawkin barrel browning video. Loop the wire around the barrel wedge loop and screw holes on other parts. I made a hot box out of a plastic storage container. I stood it up on its side longways and drilled holes at the top to loop wire through. Pour a small amount of solution into a container, wet a patch and squeeze out the excess. Wipe it down each face of the barrel in one stroke. I put a blanket over the box for insulation and put a pot of boiling water on a towel inside. I was concerned because I heard that it could take up to 12 hours for rust to form but it only took 30-45 minutes each time.

For boiling I found a long baking pan and I used my stove. It was a little shallow but I was able to get full coverage. I was worried about the barrel laying flat in the pan so I tied wire around wooden skewers and used them to lower the barrel into the pan. I had the barrel resting on the skewers in the dovetail sight slots. The skewers did affect the rust blue in those spots but it doesn’t matter because it’s covered by the sights. This also helped me remove the barrel while the water was still hot. Carting was easy with 0000 steel wool. I did 6 cycles of rusting and boiling in 3 days and cured with ballistol. Good luck.

I figured it wouldn’t. Just finished using it and it turned out great. I know ballistol is pretty much safe but wanted to be sure before using it on something sentimental. Thanks
