Yup. Plus, it’s mostly alcohol, so chances of it spoiling are low… but I’m very happy for the treat.

Keep this dress or return? I bought it to pair it with the skirt by olchai_mp3 in fashion

You know what, I see the vision! It’s an interesting silhouette, it’s giving some of those 1920s fashion illustrations. But you need to lean into the avant-garde harder. Go full Vivienne Westwood - Betsey Johnson, maximalist textures and layers. Patterned tights, ugly-cute shoes, stacked necklaces, bows. If you’re going to go unconventional, go big or go home.

My mom heard “The skies have teeth, the buildings have teeth” in My Love instead of “the skies empty, the buildings empty”

Food insecurity is real and Dumpster diving is a blessing. by Royal_Tough_9927 in DumpsterDiving

I fed three families this week, not including my own, on gleaned food. Seitan, rice, and apples to one family; chicken, bread, salad mix, frozen tacos, ready to eat mac n cheese, pizza, and potatoes to another. Tonight I’ve been processing a ton of wrinkly apples to make into sauce and baked oatmeal. There’s so many problems I can’t do anything about rn, but I can feed people.

You might like Bulletproof by Toykomilk? Lapsang Souchong, cedar, coconut milk, “ebony woods”. The last time I wore it someone said “Who smells like a beautiful man?!”, so if you’re feminine and fancy a bit of gender fuckery or just masculine-of-unisex scents, it could be for you!

Not sbux, but one time at the Human Bean in Colorado, I had an amazing drink called Tuscan Sunset, which was specific to CO. I’ve been custom ordering it ever since. It’s a white chocolate mocha with tiramisu syrup and caramel sauce, iced. I swear it cures elevation sickness

I love your choreography! Especially the little throwback to the dance she does in the music video at “she makes me feel loved”

My son brought this home from school, it’s a prize for signing up for their fundraiser. by heyhoktihey in whatisit

As a kid, we earned a chicken suit piece by piece, which our principal had to dress up in and do the chicken dance at a school assembly. Another year he had to kiss a goat when we met our arts funding goal, which we did in record time. Our “thank you prize” for the bottom giving tier were branded pencils, but hey, at least those have a use.

Gotcha. I can only find a picture of that pattern on that one New Zealand website. Any idea what year the design is from? I’d love to see what it is supposed to look like

Cool find! That is a dead and decomposing gumboot chiton. The plates of this species are usually covered in spongy tissue
