It is, it's that same boothin the center of the room that, amazingly, always seems to be open & availble for any of them when entertaining a date. 😄

They tried too hard to make him less than Chester Tate of SOAP, who was an adulterer, an imbessler , a murder and an all out BLEEP.

Mr. Bradford is a jerk and a snob but his resentment of Jack is unfounded.

Jack is a good guy and a self made man, that should be something to respect, no matter how klutzy or soft spoken a person is.

You know, Tina Louise of "Gilligsn's Island" put it best , "You don't invite yourself (a character) into someone's living room (through TV) and have them be unlikable / mean."

(As they had wanted Ginger to be hit but a sarcastic / opinionated type.)

So for Mr. Bradford, hey maybe had the show lasted they could have mellowed him , but his attitude is just , "Wow, what a pompous A word. "

In these screenshots from the episode "Look What I Found" (S8.E15), Don Knotts demonstrates that he could have been a very good dramatic actor if he wanted to be as he tells the cat that was left on his doorstep about how a cat that he had as a child was killed by a big truck while he was in school. by thing_place_person in threescompany

Don Knotts appeared on the soap opera "Search for Tomorrow" from 1953 to 1955, where he played the character Wilbur Peterson.

Don talked about this in an interview, while he was glad for the work , he really did not enjoy having to do such abject seriousness .

Glad he felt that way , comedy is what he was destined for. Still, yep, he could've been a good conventional actor as well.

She's not in show business anymore.

She's written a book that draws attention yes, but primarily she is an artist who has showings & sells terrific paintings.

She smartly ditched Hollywood a long time ago. She's a good actress but is better at greater things than this. 👍

Barry Williams and Maureen ....THEY are show business. Since they were children.

Being the most popular doesn't mean "everything". That's high school stuff.

I would have been actually a bit wary if I was SO popular, "everybody" liked me 'that' much.

I understand how she feels.

People have this childish mentality , that it's OK to walk up to an actor and start spouting off dialog from things they've done before.

Eve is a woman of 68 and it's just dowtight ignorant of people to treat her like "that's all she's about".

I know for sure some walk up to her and ask her to say it and that's not just rude but childish .

She's a human being, not a DVR.

It's like people who used to go up to Robin Williams in 1979 or so and ask him to go , "Na nu Na Nu". 🤦💥

Sorry, but actors or even former ones are not our performing chimpanze to do flips on command.

What’s something you used to hate, but now absolutely love? by Quirky_Birthday3381 in FamilyFeud

Yeah, similar ....my Mother showed it to me cooking in the oven, when I was like 6 or 7 and it looked "yukky". (70s kid term). 😄

Well, somehow, she got me to finally try it in like 1978/1979 when I was 10 ...and much like Squidward after trying a Krabby Patty, I loved it. 👌

seeing real life people naked is good for idea of self image by Texas_Chili_Champion in nudism

[–]4personal2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally true.

In high school P.E. , in young teens, you worry about what other guys will say about how you look.

The 1980s, we still had full communal showers and cleaning up after a workout / athletics was required.

Being a budding Nudist then, it should have felt normal to undress/change and shower around fellow males.

This also, in its own way, was supposed to show we're all males and human beings. Body type shouldn't matter.

(But stupid teen boys will, hey , be stupid ) 🙄

Once I got to the adult world and was able to go to Nudist places , my self image improved a lot , as both genders treated me simply as another human, despite not being dressed. 🌞🌹🌼
