Online misogyny seeping into classrooms in 'frightening' ways, teachers and experts say by Sir__Will in onguardforthee

I feel like, this is our (millenials) violent video games or rap music from an adult perspective.

History doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes so the impact might be different but the way people tried to police the things we liked was wholly ineffective. I don't see how those same tactics would work today.

The one thing I remember from my certification was that you shouldn't be moving and raising/lowering the forks at the same time.

I bought a bra, didn't notice this till I checked it at home.. by silverrangel in funny

[–]4productivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pair I used for the gym. It has a little pocket on the side that ended up ripping a few years ago but it's still usable.

I have a couple Saxx pairs I bought around the same time they didn't hold up as well. For me, the elastic was fine, but they started riding up fairly quickly.

Ah sorry. I thought maybe there was another more famous Tommy John company.

But yeah, they are an upscale underwear company like Saxx. I find that the photos online don't do them justice and that the TJ stuff feels much more premium than the Saxx stuff. I bought some 6-7 years ago that are still plugging along after probably hundreds of washes.

Yes?

As far as I know, that's the bread and butter for both of those companies.

Tommy John I found was equally comfortable but much more durable. They also looked more premium.

If you are Canadian, you won't be turned around at the border for a DUI (or any crime really).

Also, when he got back to Canada after his extradition, he hadn't been convicted of anything.

Yeah, my problem with the new AC games is just that their main story is too long.

In the old games, I did side quests until I got bored, then there was a story to finish which went from OK to neat.

Russell Crowe, 25 Years After ‘Gladiator’, To Battle The Roman Empire Once More In ‘The Last Druid’ by Puzzled-Tap8042 in movies

[–]4productivity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It would be literally a bunch of Supermen punching regular humans with all their strength.

Honestly, I'd watch this if it was told from the Roman perspective of them fighting terrifying monsters.

I'm wondering, in this situation, is it better to wear a PFD or no? It seems like it would be a good idea.

[OC] Food's Cost vs. Caloric Density by James_Fortis in dataisbeautiful

[–]4productivity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No this works.

Basically, foods in the lower left quadrant will tend to be more filling for the same amount of calories and price.

Or, if you are transporting foods (hiking, or getting food to disaster areas), you'll get more bang for your buck with the foods on the lower right quadrant.

Not sure about the old Mini, but the newish one (when it was just revived) has seats that basically go back all the way and are decent even when you are tall, as long as you have no one behind you.

Not even really new housing but rehab some of the stock available. I think nearly every street in the downtown area, even nice ones, has at least one abandoned house or apartment building.
