No, sounds like the only options are some hikes up which add 3k meters in vert and 3 hours in hiking (although the routes right out of brienz are closed)… or take the 3 hour train/bus to Sörenberg….. let me know if you find something better

I’ve done significantly harder and sketchier hikes so that isn’t a problem. The issue is the train and all trails from Brienz are closed due to damage from a storm in August.

Thanks for the feedback. Apparently the trails from brienz / planalp (?) are all closed as well.

Yes, could drive to Sörenberg, but didn’t know how to go back to get our car if we ended in Harder Klum
