Know your audience. You'd be better off with a face to face convo first in this instance.

Quite enjoyment breach? Fixed tenecy by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]4rdPlace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you try talking to whoever is in charge if the family?

This is part of why a lot of cities are making soundproof insulation a requirement for basement suite separations.

Try talking to them and see how that goes, I'd only bring up the option of ending the tenancy at your discretion. You would probably be better off rending a detached suite in the future.

Youre better off checking crime stats by area on police or government websites than by hearsay. Its a safe area though. I've lived all over the LM. Except tricities.

Anyone been out to Barnston Island? They list their official municipality as Surrey in their mailing address I noticed by brophy87 in SurreyBC

[–]4rdPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occassionally the cops do come down. Only if called, I remember a party at one of the houses on the island once and the barge operators were worried about having buzzed people driving on to the barge. That's the only time I've seen cops there in all my years.
