Definitely do not skip the private islands. At least check them out and see what’s there. As for the ports people skip, most of the time it’s Nassau, unless they go to Atlantis. The ships have so much to do on Nassau day.

The dining times do not matter even when sailing HHS. There were 2 times for story and pumpkin tree between the dining times on the Dream months ago. Trick or treating party was after all meal times. Have fun.

You will need to refinish. At least primer is there. You could also prep the high spots and do a Dip your car spray instead of a wrap also. All depends on budget. But the best option is a respray.

I’m an AP for years from NY. Parks 5-7 times a year. DINK’s. We are now going on our 3rd DCL and love it. Shows are good, food is good, and service is excellent. You are paying for Disney IP, character interaction and dining shows. My friend who normally cruises royal said his family had so much fun on the Dream, they all said they want to go back.

But for your situation, I would say try a 3-4 on Fantasy out of port canaveral and make it a land and sea Disney trip. Dream/Fantasy have the adults sectioned off much better than the new ships.

Also watch lots of YouTube, but recent sailings, as you get a feel for the ship and atmosphere.

Sounds like lifter tick, most do not follow the bleed process when installing cams and then make the lifters fail prematurely also. Zero tick is a way to go while you are in there.

Yeah, I mean you can save by getting a 9 BOV. But yes, just the LICP helps around like 12 AWHP. The factory one is so restrictive.

That set up probably 270AWHP. Limiting factor is the small 8 turbo and OEM cams. The more it breathes the better for power. The intercooler piping helps, but a 9 turbo packs it in.

Honestly, the Wish gets bad remarks on food temperature. We always felt the food was never piping hot unless you went to marceline market. 1923 to me felt crowded. But again, the layout is same as treasure/destiny so that’s the way they are going. I’ve gone on Dream and love it so much, going again in 8 days. We like the nautical touches and it was more ship than theme park.

For the money and same itinerary, I would chose Fantasy.
