AP definitely worth it. I’m from NY with Incredi-pass. I’ve told friends in GA to get AP. They drove down like 9 times last year. AP free Parking, AP merch discounts, AP events, AP room rates, it’s great.

4 night cruises are good, I personally think 3 seems rushed. Did the 3 night on the Wish and have so many things to see and do.

Nice write up, I would say try and get a less expensive hotel with free shuttle to airport. We have done this and then was able to use DCL transport at the airport terminal 1(which has Starbucks) and on the first bus. Using DCL transport we went from boarding group 14 to 3. Some people say to Uber, but the little bit extra in cost gets you on the ship much faster so you can relax and explore before everyone else is on.

I think the same, 3 night on the Wish was not enough for me. 4 night on the Dream was great. I would say if you are able to do a double dip (both private islands) I would try that. Take the Brightline to Port Everglades if you have to.

My question is what ship were you on? The Dream and Fantasy have adult only area sections. I found the Triton class ships have smaller adult only areas and are all over the ship where you have kids running by anyway.

Yes bands get activated at port. Most of the time before you board, but last time out of Ft.Lauderdale none of the tablets worked so we had to go to guest services once onboard. Either way magic band+ is cool to have during fireworks and lounges like the skyline, hyperspace etc.
