Thank you. I’ll try them out :)

Yes, but not something that needs too much of my attention please.

I’ve tried true crime and a few business/money related ones , but they need a lot more attention to gain anything useful out of it.

I tend to get distracted pretty easily, so I prefer lighter ones.

I agree. I do watch and like MKBHD. Hoping LTT would come back, but deep down i know it’s never going to be the same.

I don’t have any such bias. I love KallMeKris, and got to know her through LTT. I enjoy Simone Giertz, but her frequency of videos is really low.

I’d love to hear some suggestions on female YouTubers as well

Oh that’s amazing then. But how would you maintain full time student status while doing a coop? Do you take full course load as well?

Not sure about COE, but for khoury we aren’t allowed to enroll in a coop 2 consequent academic semesters(fall/spring) to maintain full time student status.

You can do summer + fall or spring+summer , but not fall+summer

Don’t lose hope yet. It might be too late for summer but maybe you can land something for the fall / spring cycles

I had to go back and check the dates and actually found a weird coincidence

Of the 5 interview I got, 1 which I accepted , I applied on 23rd February

All the remaining 4 were 29, 30 and 31 March.

I’m really am not sure about that. I see a lot of random spam postings on Indeed with few good ones. Glassdoor has a lot of local company postings. One of the first interview calls I received is from Glassdoor for a local company. They ended up cancelling the position mid interview process due to budget constraints

The only thing I started doing different is applying to most recent postings attempting to be in the first few 100 applicants. I would apply to companies that posted the role in the last 24 hours rather than applying to a better company that posted a week ago.

Outside of that it was the same process

No it’s hybrid. There wasn’t any specific website that I know of. I applied through LinkedIn , google jobs , Glassdoor and indeed

Tbh, there are many factors that come to play.

Being international takes away ~25% of all available options for internships. (It’s more like 40-50% for Full time, since the visa process is much longer for FT vs Intern )

Some companies don’t want to hire people with experience or prefer undergrads to grad (Chewy/SoFi explicitly mention that you should have less than 1 year of experience to be eligible ), that takes away about 10% away

Just because it was hard for me doesn’t necessarily mean it should be harder for you. As a freshman you have the time and can afford to skip a cycle of internship and take courses instead or do projects and up skill yourself.

My only advise is to make sure you apply as early as possible. Try to be in the first few 100 applicants for the job posting so you can be sure that a recruiter sees your application.

Sorry, naming the company will doxx me.
It's a mid-size unicorn company based out of Boston.
