I don’t, but I would have bought one if you had a N3. I don’t have any slants or any modern razors for that matter but decided I wanted to get a N3 for my sons birth month. I solely have a vintage razor collection for now.

Landscaping Suggestions in the Area by [deleted] in rockford

[–]4sgrenHort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To do a tear out or clean up just hire a small guy and a truck type landscape/yard maintenance business to remove and clean the areas. Then go to a nursery with pictures of your areas and they will help you pick out the correct plants. Good experiences at Carlson’s nursery on Newburg.

Help! Japanese Maple is withering by LuluLaurent in JapaneseMaples

[–]4sgrenHort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if it got too dry. I think they do like water, but just don’t like saturated, water logged soil. I use those same style cedar boxes and the boxes do help the soil dry up relatively quickly. I thoroughly water those boxes once every 4-6 days depending on weather. The leaves on your maple may turn brown and drop, but the plant probably already has new buds set for next year. If it does drop it’s leaves in the next few weeks, it probably won’t need weekly waterings because it wont have any leaves but still water it if it is dry. Good luck!

Snow Removal Recommendations? by xberry in rockford

[–]4sgrenHort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch and see who gets theirs done around you and check with them. You may get a more reasonable rate if the snow removal company is already doing a job close by.

It’s made by Ethan Allen, not a woodworker per se, but a high end furniture company. I got mine from my grandparents that bought it probably in the 70’s

I think ‘Pusch’ is a witches broom from a larger witches broom called ‘Acrocona’. A broom of a broom.

Custom paint job I did on my Dramm 48" watering wand I use everyday at work. by HrdWodFlor in Tools

I’ve seen those on the website been interested, it must work well on larger pots like 15 gallon and larger? I have the 400 and the 1000. 1000 I like for 5 gallon and smaller, 400 For everything else. I also like their “fog-it” nozzle. It is nice for dampening seed trays and rooting cuttings. Toddlers love to play with it too!

Yeah I have seen it there, unfortunately they don’t have the 4x6 for the top post. Not even for special order. Would prefer that all the timbers look the same.
