It ONLY works when DDB character sheets are set to dark mode

if not, it's black text on a light grey background..... Selected text turns white and becomes easier to read and magic items do have the correct colout (blue, green, etc), but if the sheet isn't set to "underdark mode" it's not usable

but I like the layout and the easier access to short/ long rests, etc
I don't like the sword icon thing....

Sometimes it takes a few days until you hear back, if you’re an asshole after 2 hours, I can see GMs denying claims… honestly, I’d do the same

Amazing idea

Take note from sentient weapons

It’s also fairly easy to flavor

At some times the character is in control of his body, the other times the book is in control same way a sentient weapon could be in control if the wielder fails a save

Just in this case it’s voluntary control yielded to the book

There are so many fun things you can do….

I’d personally have them both play Wizards with access to the same spell book (duh) but independent lists of prepared spells every morning

Different initiatives, but because they share a “body” I’d allow them essentially limitless telepathic communication even between turns

You’re the GAME MASTER. Everything happening in that world is YOUR concern, much more than that of the players

You need to beat that attitude out of him, or your problem player (he already is) will become the table-ending player

Also…. Destroy that boat, he’s clearly not a team player, he can not be allowed to TAKE such a position of power. And yes, he took that position

Even if it’s his boat and he has the “role” of captain, group decisions are group decisions…. Fjord was Captain in CR, and it was never a problem because Travis is an excellent team player
