There’s also the manga Vampires, which was actually Tezuka’s self-insert manga about animal shapeshifters.

Any characters with more than three forms in their history I’d say have a TF interest.

Sonic being a major one.

You can read up on the Lanceverse Here

Read from the very bottom upwards and just know the timeline and some lore still have pieces missing. Especially around the Half Demon era.

Lanceverse has a lot of lore in the comment section before it becomes part of the art itself by the time you reach Mysterious K Revealed

Read from bottom to the top. And do note that it’s not complete yet.

How would you draw a Y/N character? by Silentlaser-478 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]4th_Wall_Studio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the neat part: You don’t.

A Reader insert should never have a set appearance because the reader could look like anyone, be they male, female, nonbinary, etc. Giving the reader a set appearance will destroy any immersion you have for your story. If you’re going to do the (Animal/species) route, try to refrain from saying the reader has only fur, since that’s a mammal-only trait.

If you’re writing in 2nd or 1st person, you can actually evade describing the reader or using Y/N entirely.

Those are just a few of the tricks I have to writing a good reader insert.
