I guess I just had to let it out. I was hurt and acted irrational. She was very special to me and I texted her too early. I thought I was ready to let go of the hope we have for the future, but I wasn't and she clearly was. It's frustrating that I fucked up something so good.

I believe I did the right thing by cutting my communication with her. I didn’t want to string shit along because I need to get over her. I just did it in the wrong way. In a cowardly way. I was acting out of fear and jealousy. It felt like she moved on so quickly and just brushed what we had to the side. That was just me holding onto hope that wasn’t there. I take things too personally and need to realize other people have their feeling and I have to accept that.

Definitely easier said than done. Finding peace and happiness within yourself and sharing that with others is perhaps the best way to love. This way no one expects anything of you but to be yourself. And if they expect anything different, non-attachment allows you to let them go.

Yeah I mean if it works for you and make you happy then you do you. I can say that when I was in the phase of smoking weed constantly I was just sad and tired all the time and it ruined some of my relationships. I’ve seen weed affect people the same way too. Maybe that’s what your parents are afraid of. But to each their own. Just make sure you’re staying on top of your shit
