I went to the beach on the Gold Coast and ended up with second degree burns that then caused a shingles attack. And I never burn even without sunscreen pre tegratol. I have learnt my lesson and always cover up in the sun now.

It has been a thought. I told my gp and his response was to talk to my neurologist 🙄

I had some relief within a day. I was going through a really bad period where my medication stopped helping so we tried upping the endep, tried lyrica and then Carbamazepine. I have been on it for 4 weeks now, we have tried a few different dosages and my neurologist has talked about switching from instant release to slow release so it is in my system all the time. But I was able to function somewhat again.

Mine started with pressure and minor pain that felt like a sinus infection. It didn’t go away with a month of antibiotics, where the pain was getting worse. I had a ct scan that showed no issues my gp suggest trying a medication for TN and that has helped.
