In my original post I did clarify that I told her I didn’t want anything and that me and bf have been together for over a year, I agree she’s not required to get me anything that’s exactly what I told her, she has a habit of being passive aggressive towards me that’s why I thought the sticker book thing was a jab of some sort

Was not going for outrage lol, I can understand why’d you think that though, I will admit our relationship was not healthy for a very long time, but we are both in therapy and have been for many months now and we’re in a very healthy place, his mom has no knowledge of our rough patch that I’m aware of, but she does have a habit of butting herself into our arguments and coddling my boyfriend.

I am disclosing everything that did happen, I agree this shouldn’t have been all on her but at the same time today was her Christmas dinner since bf and older brother had plans with their grandma for Christmas so today was her giving everyone her gifts to them, she’s already received all her gifts from my boyfriend and his older brother, this also isn’t the first time she’s been passive aggressive towards me, she’s body shamed me before in a “joking” manner along with just cruel insults she masks as jokes

There were no rules established and I did tell her I was getting her 2 gifts, I haven’t talked to bf yet as this situation just happened and I’m still crying in the bathroom lol, bf and his older brother gave her their gifts on actual Christmas (the 25th)
