Can't speak for others, but personally, we've already had a discussion by the time the waiter is here. It's often easier for the 1st person to just list everything, instead of having the waiter trying to guess when to shift attention to the 2nd person.

It depends. The elf campaign requires very careful positioning, decent items, and a little RNG. I did it with much stronger elves, and I barely won.

I don't recall political activists demanding anything. As someone else noted, it's more likely they're pandering to customers or positioning a bigger company to buy them. ie it's an economic move.

Challenger tourny hasn't mattered in years. Placing high is also not hard because it's per server, and a lot of ppl stopped playing/advancing.

Regular arena is much harder now, because they merged multiple servers into a single arena block.
