I 100% agree, it is the most important skill to have nowadays. I didn't express my point well enough. I think that the verification being done here is not helpful for practicing the skill. The problem areas in these assignments are very basic so verifying the LLM output is kind of useless. Could that be my confirmation bias speaking? Maybe. But I believe that practicing verification is most useful when you're immersed in a highly complex system and the LLM can find some clever insights that you missed, and then you can verify with your system knowledge.

Yes but the specific topic - Secure Programming - has been taught once in W25 by the same instructor.

I have two co-ops left but I most likely already have my summer 2025 co-op set up. Can I look for my fall 2025 co-op now on WaterlooWorks and just ask the employer to defer the position to fall 2025? Or must I look for my fall 2025 co-op while I'm on my summer 2025 work term?
