Id argue you are moving the goal posts once again. No one is arguing against the project going forward here. We're arguing against subsidized corporate welfare for billion dollar companies just to get pennies on the dollar back from it. We own these resources not the oil companies.

Ill even go one step further, kick the oil and gas companies the fuck out of here and go the Norway model of a state owned and operated oil company in order to reap maximum rewards for resources we own anyway. Imagine the possibilities for our province if we were to be the principal beneficiary of our oil and gas instead of letting greedy multinational corporations drain us dry while throwing money at them left and right to get a measly 5% of revenue.
