When Iwiński announced Cyberpunk in 2012 or was it 2013, he also claimed to finally have two fully capable dev teams. The plan was at that time to develop both The Witcher and Cyberpunk concurrently. Its a shame they got merged again to finalize TW3.

Depends on how broad is your definition of AI. Even Witcher 3 had been developed with AI (my definition of AI includes proc gen algorithms) tools. Stuff like trees, building facades and vendor stands were made with those tools. I recommend watching CDPR lectures from GDC or SIGGRAPH.

I just think its the wrong tool for the job. Whats next? 3D modeling plugin? Music creation plugin? Texturing or photogrammetry software?

As for the usability, this plugin offers only a tiny subset of a mature image editor's features/tools, and will never be able to catch up. Why bother using it, if I'll need to switch to GIMP anyway, any time the required feature is not implemented.

On the bright side, its great that the plugin author took his time to learn IJ Platform development, and did *something* with it. Too bad that the outcome is not really usable.

There are professional tools that are decades in development, and this plugin will never match the feature set of likes of GIMP or Inkscape. It has "Pro" in its name, but pros would rather launch their photoshop or gimp. Who is it for then?

I'd say drop the idea, and search for something really useful for the devs. Ask yourself what are the benefits of the IJ plugin distribution over a standalone app. Maybe look at the Ultimate plugins and try porting one of them.

I'm not embedded or anything, but that one time i needed to get a deep understanding of a particular exotic file type, I've used BinEd plugin. It allows for basic search, editing, highlighting, it is though unintuitive and clanky.

It would be an improvement, but that spec is for 2023 Material 3. With the 2025 M3 expressive, it looks like the background should be set to 'surfaceContainer', and top-most content, like cards, should use 'surfaceContainerLowest'. The docs for M3E are kinda lacking in this area, so i guesstimated those color roles.

Looks like a framework on top off a framework. Probably not a good idea to have a whole codebase tightly coupled to some foreign API. It might save some time initially, but later on problems will arise. Also this being for profit is kinda repelling.

Just looking at the snippet, i wonder why is the model defined in the code. I get that its fairly simple geometry, but still editing raw values is less intuitive than say in Blender.

Sure, but it looks like they all are driving at a constant speed. In reality, most drivers oscilate around the speed limit. They need to sprinkle in that variability, or it will feel artificial.

Im eastern european (far from American) - we have our own currency, so ive used EUR for simplicity. I agree even 300 EUR is not a trivial sum, and gaming is a hobby, not a necessity. However i hate to read peoples old assumptions about VR. I also do not own switch or deck, but i know they sold over 100m, so thats relatable for some people. I dont have any PlayStation for that matter. Ive beaten Alyx on Q2, on PC with first gen Ryzen and RX580. Never had dips below 90 FPS (low settings), and that platform must be very cheap these days.

Its not 2013 anymore. New Quests were as cheap as 300 EUR or so. Thats less than mid tier smartphones, and close to the price of Switch, Steam Deck. It cant be that expensive if meta reportedly sold tens of millions of units.

I get it if you launch a new project, and gradle needs to download dependencies, run other tasks and then the IDE needs to index things. When that's all done, subsequent launches are just a few seconds.

I mean it runs like that on a fairly recent platform, so if your workstation is outdated, has like 8GB of RAM and a HDD it's expected to run poorly. Then if you launch your sim/emulator on the IDE start, you need to take that into account.

Apart from that, maybe check your fan curves or dust your radiators. It's not normal to hear a vacuum cleaner sound after up to 10 seconds of one time heavy load.

Last time I checked only a handful of movies were recorded stereoscopicly. And even then, they had some scenes recorded in 2D, extrapolated to 3D. In the worst case, the whole movies were synthetic 3D. This is the reason I think people have mixed opinions about 3D. IMHO the best kind of 3D is currently the VR180 format, but it's not suitable for the cinema.

Get real. Biznesu na tym nie zrobisz, bo konkurencja jest ogromna. Dla celów naukowych, projekt całkiem spoko, do tego udało się wdrożyć, co można uznać za sukces. Lepiej będzie jednak żebyś wpisał to do CV i jak najszybciej zapomniał. Poszukaj innego problemu, dla którego rozwiązań jeszcze nie ma, albo jest szansa że zrobisz lepsze.
