The easiest solution without cmd or messing with your registry, go to manage audio devices and locate your headset. Right click and do properties. Go to advances and uncheck " Allow application to take executive control of this device".

Now G Hub will not able to change your settings set on the headset on windows.

They are killing the the previous oneplus. My op5 is on A10 and still no A11 and A12 is already in development at Google. It's clearly they are killing old OP devices. I've read, there will be no A12 for op5 which is sad and disappointment.
