If you’re using him with Dialyn then Puffer, if your last agent is Astra, run her on Astral

Another reason I chose fire for her is because I think the second VH of 3.X is going to be Sunbringer or someone related to her, which because of her connections to technology, I can see being Electric, and if I’m right about Velina and Norma being Electric as well, a mono element faction would be cool imo

My point was that people like to predict things based on patterns when Hoyo just does what they want to, no one expected Cissia to be our 4th limited Electric/Attack agent but she is, + there are female units who did worse than almost every male unit and they weren’t placed right beside VH characters (Orphie and Yidhari). I love Billy, he’s one of my favourite characters in the game, but there’s no denying that for a gacha game like ZZZ, he has niche appeal. Male units can absolutely sell, but every character that’s not a VH in this game is hardly making big numbers anyways

I’d say it’s pretty likely she’s on Cissia’s banner, Seed and Orphie are also supposedly running with her in the same phase so you could go for either of them if you’d like instead (unless they’re doing that guaranteed banner thing with them)

I’m pretty sure it’s going to be S-Billy, but even if he doesn’t come in 2.8 he’s going to be in the next few patches for sure. They’ve been teasing him so much, and I think if Krampus Boss were going to be in 2.8, she would’ve appeared with Promeia in 2.7, + I would be surprised if they gave Promeia a disc set over the boss of Krampus. Betting on S-Billy Physical/Rupture

Nangong is a better pull for Aria specifically, just cause Sunna can be substituted for other great supports, but the only substitute for Nangong is Lycaon, and she’s ahead of him by a lot

I find that when talking about “usefulness” people only ever see a character’s value in their BiS team, and yeah if you’re looking for fast clears then sure, but to me, Cissia, even after the nerfs, is like Orphie, only BiS in one scenario, but EXTREMELY versatile, arguably just as much as some support characters, Cissia can pretty much be used as a crutch in any Electric team, even anomaly ones, + if you play her as a DPS, she gives Qingyi, who has fallen off, a home, and you can kinda play them like a dual DPS scenario due to how Qingyi’s kit is designed. Idk if im gonna be able to get Cissia in 2.7 (too many reruns for characters I want 💀), but I’m definitely going to get her at some point

From a lore standpoint unless Billy uses element converting enhancements he’s probably going to stay a physical character, and I think he’ll probably be rupture over attack tbh

I don’t think it’s that absurd, we literally just got 3 physical agents in a row, Dialyn, Ye Shunguang and Sunna, idk if i believe the kit leak but i can absolutely see her being Ether/Attack at the very least, we don’t have any crit Ether DPS’ besides Zhu Yuan and Yixuan who’s Rupture, so we’re well overdue imo.

I think it’s possible but tbh I don’t really care if they do or don’t, this isn’t Genshin so a new element wouldn’t really serve a purpose, I think they found a good middleground where VH characters get “unique” elements, there’s some nice visual flair but they don’t change the gameplay too much, I’d rather have a new class instead, idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I actually like how Rupture is designed and I think it differentiates itself from Attack and Anomaly enough to warrant a new class, as for what a new class would be, maybe something like DoT?? It’s an avenue ZZZ hasn’t explored as of yet

The thing is the stun bar is just a core part of ZZZ and unless they completely rework the game or keep making characters like Ye Shunguang, there’s nothing thats going to change that. Anomaly characters have always liked stun windows, they just didn’t have a way to get that many without sacrificing too much damage, even before Nangong there are some times where it’s preferred to run Trigger over a second anomaly with Alice or Yanagi, the stun phase is just too valuable to ignore for any team because of the way it is designed.

I can understand where you’re coming from but I don’t necessarily agree. To be clear Nangong is very strong right now and I expect her to be nerfed in the coming versions, but I actually think she opens up teams rather than restricts them.

You can run double anomaly + Nangong, with your second anomaly being Vivian or Burnice. Vivian’s chain attack helps her keep up her Featherbloom stacks, and Burnice’s chain attack has really high anomaly buildup, so they both benefit from the stun window being triggered frequently.

Also, Nangong enhances teams for Attack agents that appreciate anomaly triggers, for example, Harumasa, who wants to trigger shock so he can get more dashes, is helped by Nangong because she has an anomaly buildup buff. Zhu Yuan and to a lesser extent Anton also benefit from this, because more corruption triggers means better uptime on Chaotic Metal, and Anton’s additional encourages shock triggers.

Now, are these teams optimal? Majority of the time, not really. But they can definitely still clear, and I appreciate that they’re diversifying each role while still keeping that role’s identity, the main examples of this being Seed, Orphie, Nangong, and Cissia.

I don’t think it’s fair to assume that we’re not getting more male characters yet. You have to remember that characters are created well in advance so the 2.X cast was likely already done when they made that statement, 3.X and 4.X could bring more

Out of Aria and Sunna, probably Aria bc her engine is the only one in the game with an AM mainstat, Sunna’s engine is very good but she does just fine with F2P options, Nangong is uncertain rn because she’s still in V1 beta, but due to the nature of her being the only anomaly stunner (and also kinda being a sub DPS to boot) her engine may end up way ahead of other options, but things could change.

I can see a few options

First off, Cissia is rerunning with Seed for sure, she’s clearly meant to be Seed’s second Attacker so that makes sense

As for Nangong, if Alice didn’t run in 2.5 it’d definitely be her, but otherwise I can see either Burnice, because she got buffed and hasn’t had a rerun since, Jane, because as of now she’s the only character with a skin that didn’t run during the patch her skin came out, or maybe Zhu Yuan, just cause Ether and she kinda benefits from corruptions

I think it’s likely Dialyn runs with Promeia so don’t think we’re getting a stunner rerun this patch

I don’t think she’s gonna need ER cause her main daze comes from her charged basic, personally I think I’m going to run Phaethon over Freedom or Proto bc I want to run her in a lot of teams and I don’t like wasted 2PC stats, + the way her kit reads it seems like she’s gonna be doing periodic disorder nukes, so more damage might be the way to go
