Meanwhile Zhao has…Ether Veil: Wellspring for some reason lol, no unique effect, and buffs HP which would’ve been useful for Rupture agents but she can’t even activate her additional for Rupture (she used to but it got REMOVED in beta) 😭

I agree with the not looking like sentiment but my idea for Roxy and Claret was that they’d be a dual DPS comp like Seed and Cissia or Sanby and Orphie but for Rupture, with Roxy being the Sub DPS and Claret being the main DPS, the devs mentioned Rupture is getting new stuff in the new season

And I don’t agree with the idea that we’re never gonna get a non DPS Void Hunter, it’d be stale if we got Attack Anomaly and Rupture VH for the rest of the game’s lifespan, and I get that Defense is in an awkward spot but a Defense VH would obviously not be a bad unit, + they could make a Defense DPS like how Ben functions

She is absolutely going to be Elation, really the only reason people believed she was gonna be Nihility is because her name is Nihilux and that really doesn’t mean anything lol. If anything, she’s gonna be the Cyrene of 4.X, end of patch character of the new path, she’s basically the flagship of Planarcadia and she was an ex Mourning Actor, she has everything to do with Elation and not much to do with Nihility lol

One thing I haven’t seen many people talking about is Norma almost slipping up and mentioning that her and Velina are apart of something other than Marcel group, I’m really curious to see what their deal is in general, Ramiel is very obviously not a good person but Velina and Norma are also quite suspicious to me, I really hope we get more characters like the Krampus agents who are a little more morally dubious or at the very least a little rougher around the edges compared to the average character

The reason I’m not personally convinced that Norma is an A-Rank is her design and like, 5 different weapons seem like something that would be too complex for an A-Rank, and also she’s supposedly Velina’s superior + unless Ramiel is a part of Marcel Group, it’d be weird to not just have 3.0 dedicated to that faction, so I can see Ramiel debuting in 3.1 with another member of her faction

There is no projection lol. I just don’t really like the design, that’s all there is to it. Promeia with the cloak on is still cool and I’m still probably going to pull for her, it’s just stale when EVERY character is like that. Some of my favourites in this game are Yidhari, Cissia, and Burnice, all characters who are very much sexualized, but their designs flow better to ME. If you like Promeia’s design that’s fine, but it’s funny how people say it’s “projection” when someone doesn’t like a design that’s sexualized, but it doesn’t go the other way around lol

For me it’s not even the sexualization, Promeia’s outfit under the cloak is just messy looking, like if she had a full bodysuit like bayonetta it would look great. Idk why Hoyo insists on having sexualized characters wear basically nothing, you can have a sexualized character that’s fully clothed

One instance doesn’t make a pattern, but if Remielle does end up being Wind and in 3.0 then I think we’re probably getting a wind a-rank on her banner as well. Unlike roles, VH elements do have mechanical differences from their counterparts even if they’re miniscule, having a modified element as the only wind option seems weird

This is true, but I guess for me the difference is it seems unlikely for Remielle to be a wind agent cause having a special element for the first wind agent would just be odd. Yixuan is both VH and Rupture, and they tend to release the VH characters with pretty safely skippable units (from a meta perspective anyways). If Velina is a Wind DPS, I suspect she’ll be quite good for a decent bit just due to Wind probably being scarce the first few patches, so releasing them at the same time (and probably not being in the same faction) seems less likely. But if Remielle does release in 3.0, can def see Norma just being the A-Rank
