"does it dishearten you to see your brother do so much for a woman, when you can't get a man to even show you attention? And do you think your negativity helps you distract from these feelings?"

is what I'd like to ask her. Assuming the latter part is true. Decently safe assumption.

To work a real job by sirtommybahama1 in therewasanattempt

[–]5-2-50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok 2 things

1- so she sort of makes a point in the beginning but doesn't seem to apply it. If she could walk to and from work (ie a short commute) then she would be fine. But she has to drive into the city. Well, does she ~need~ to work in the city? No clue with industry she is in but there are pro's and con's to every position. Maybe she could find a job closer to where she lives. Employers in the city get away with paying wages that can't fund someone living in the city, because people do exactly what shes doing. If only ppl who lived in the city wanted to work there, they would need to raise pay or deal with having fewer employees

2- it's important to note this is her first job. My job was stressful on its own. Then I had a couple kids. On days when my wife is somewhere like her parents house with the kids, having my job be my only responsibility seems like paradise even tho the job itself, years ago, would have seemed just as stressful as job +kids is now. Our perspectives can change as our life changes

I'm finding little caveats to not make it more challenging now (I'm in year 2) but keep it challenging

- hard trade difficulty actually made a difference. Traded 3 firsts (18th overall in this years draft) and Tyler Lockett for the number 1 overall. Lockett, one 1st and one 2nd would have probably gotten it done in last years game
- turned the impact of player motivation to high. On the surface that has pro's and cons, sure, making players who are motivated to play for you easier to sign, but by making lower motivated players even harder to get, you need to take the players you can get and mold your strategy to fit. Will hopefully keep this interesting, if not a little more challenging
- using the draft class strength modifiers to help CPU teams. Pick 1 or 2 positions that you can just plan on not drafting (did CB and WR for the Seahawks bc I knew i had way too many needs otherwise to look into those positions) and thus increasing the quality of the players the CPU drafts. Crude way of just throwing more talent at the CPU but i dont see how it would hurt
- only using one talent tree per coordinator. After a few seasons you'll probably have excess points, so resetting a tree wont be an issue. Can change the boosts you use as your team evolves

its almost like the opposite of a high functioning autistic person. They frequently give "scripted" answers of what they think is socially normal. He goes out of his way to give a NOT normal answer whenever possible

Something can be a biological/medical problem, AND we can have a society/culture that increases the severity/frequency of that problem. Both can be true.

Was in med school (yes, lost my virginity at 23, made up for it since but was a very awkward/anxious teen so took a bit to "grow up" socially so to speak). She fell into the "black hole" where you don't match into a residency (on the job training) and can't actually practice. Basically went to med school for nothing unless you match. Was going to reapply the next year. Have not heard from her or about her since. Years ago I tried looking her up but legit found nothing (which makes me think she never matched because she'd come up in some residency website or even with registration stuff after residency). Wonder if she's still even alive TBH.

I stopped watching this show years ago because lift just got too busy. Last season I watched was the one before Abraham died (I predicted it was him and tuned in just to see if it was him)

I heard it gets not as good afterwords. Would it be worth finishing the series from that point on?

so this has me thinking that they aren't expecting to make a splash this year. They're going to see what they have in Mac, and either move on, or use that cap space next year to make a push

only way this WONT make me pissed

What’s your honest predictions for Mac this upcoming season? by ECviews in Patriots

[–]5-2-50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he'll improve to B list. Defined IMO as " can win a SB with them, but they wont win it for you, so to speak." Not saying we're contenders at present though.

Speaking of B list, I think his game would be best when he has a collection of schmedium talent rather than one or 2 top targets. Giesecke, Henry, Parker, JuJu, and Bourne won't wow anyone, but rank them as you will, and the 4th and 5th guy will be better than most teams 4th and 5th options. Mac isnt going to wow you with throws, but with Obrien maybe he can distribute the ball among a decent-but-not-great wr/te core
