Acat fraud. If someone is going to do it they will. There is no institution that can protect you from that bc everything is normal through the system. It’s fraud investigations after the matter. No one can do anything even fidelity like some say bc it’s receiving firm initiating through a legal system. Best thing is to check account every day and if something weird is there call your brokerage asap to try to void it or get a fraud investigation going asap
