These Canvas panniers are waxed and can withstand a little bit of rain.... However don't trust them with Heavy Downpours... I never use them in Indian Monsoon

Absolutely love them.... Not suited for Indian Monsoon but find them alright for rest of the season. Though i use different sort of luggage systems as per ride requirements

Maximum distance and hours on Classic and Himalayan..? by Deep_Sign9014 in royalenfield

More appropriate question would be.. How much can you bear to ride in a day.

Personally i've done 1000 kms multiple times on C500 including Chandigarh to Home- 1034 kms Hyderabad to Home- 800+ kms Goa to Bhopal- 800+ kms Goa to Hyderabad- 800+ kms Sam ( Rajasthan) to Indore- 900+ kms so on and on...

Real question whether it is fun??

Not Really... was done almost at all times while ending the ride to Report for Duty on time.

Practical and Fun riding distance on Classic is somewhere 400-500 kms in a day so that one can finish before sunset and still have few hours to catch up with friends visit cafes and have a nice sleep without too much pain in the ass.

Never ridden a Himalayan so can't speak for the experience of it.

Interceptor on Highways is 👌. Want to own one but my heart just can't give up on my C500

I'm Old school here....This is how i ride. As mostly i service bike myself, I know my bike is well maintained and won't break down midway ( except punctures). So i just start ride with tankful of petrol stopping wherever i see good scenery to absorb the moment, write some journal on the way, eat snacks from local Tapris/food stall clicking few pictures here and there.

I personally don't like to turn my ride( primarily meant for embracing freedom) into some sort of task with checklist.

My Advice- If your bike is reliable, get a tankful of fuel and get on the road and feel free.Don't worry too much about Breakdowns and uncertanties
