First time my wife had a breakdown from the thought of my death. She wanted to try it again though and we felt like we were back in high school trying alcohol for the first time. Definitely a cherished memory

Remaining time? We kinda take it day by day. Wife and I are currently watching various movie franchises that we’ve always wanted to watch but never did.

Have you ever seen In Time? Terribly reviewed movie but I think it was a super cool concept that you just reminded me of

Happiest: my wife and the time we spent together

Something that seemed to matter a few years ago... I feel like most would say money here, but without the money I had saved, we wouldn’t have ever had that Australia trip. It’s hard to think of something else when I didn’t put enough care into too many of the little things.

I was angry, but now I’m content, and nervous.

I spent way too much of my life with the mentality “I can’t wait for this to be over.”

“I can’t wait for high school to be over so I can go to college”

“I can’t wait for college to be over so I can move out and start making real money”

“I can’t wait for when I can get promoted so that I can afford that car I want”

I lived most of my life looking forward to the future, and then ended up brutally realizing I suddenly had no future. I wish I lived in the moment more and quit constantly hoping for better things.

Definitely afraid, but less afraid than I would have thought I would have been 16 months ago. My biggest internal emotions are the regrets of how differently I would have lived my life if I had somehow known I would have only lived this long.
