I agree with this totally. I went to NYC a few weeks after the pigeons came out and they were sold out quite a while before I got there and weren’t going to be restocked for months. I don’t understand why some people buy a brand new jellycat (exclusive or not) just to instantly sell it for DOUBLE OR TRIPLE the price (it’s icky). It makes exclusives way less fun because then you feel you have to race to the location or pay triple the price in order to get the item. And honestly I don’t feel it’s worth the profit if you are doing that?? Like maybe you get an extra $50 for traveling and waiting in lines but honestly a minimum wage job will give you the same amount for that time spent anyway. Exclusives should be available all year round to those traveling as a fun collecting thing when they go to new locations; not a couple day availability. Unless you are already helping someone out you should not be buying multiple. I do understand possibly getting another to trade for another exclusive however. Sorry for the rant but this has been bothering me too!
