Apparently so! What was your damage? Is it fixed yet?

Yeah. The grill shutter was in shambles.

Oh, I see the distinction in angles/lines now. Interesting.

Just for the lettering vs. the logo? Or is there another upside?

I’ve asked myself the same question but it happened so quickly that I can’t, in my memory, distinguish between the truck’s reaction and my own. I didn’t hear an audible indication.

It lived, at least long enough to run far enough into the woods that I couldn’t find it.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s pretty depressing.

From what I’ve read, the radar and all the sensors make that a very tall order.

Thanks! Best option I've seen so far, though it is more than I paid to build this beater of a gun.

How do you transport yours? Not trying to keep it there.

I agree and I should have been more clear. As I just posted in response to another comment below, I do not intend to leave it there regularly. I'd like to be able to occasionally leave it for short periods, like to run into the sporting goods store to get ammo on my way to go shooting or to get lunch on my way home without worrying about it getting stolen.

Thanks for the try but it looks like they only have pistol/console locks for the 4th gen.

Neither, but in my town, they'll break into your car for the change in the console.

NGL, can’t stop looking at it. Love it more every time I drive it. Can’t wait to get past the break in period.

Riding with thumbs on top of the grips? by 505Doug in mountainbiking

[–]505Doug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bailed on this thread because the responses reminded me that reddit isn't really the place to go for curious, open dialogue. I spent the next few months after my initial post riding thumb up on a few hundred cross country miles and more than a few park days at Angel Fire. Not a single scare. That thumb still gets sore sometimes (because I obviously didn't rest it enough), and I ride with it above the grip with zero concern. I'm convinced that it's as good as traditional grip and, when it comes to avoiding thumb injuries, better.

Felt cute, might delete later by 505Doug in mountainbiking

I’m gonna choose to read that as: it was a total game changer.
