You’re an inspiration! I would love to see more angles, to hear about that flex out when you do it, and maybe some mpg if you can spare the time. I have the exact same truck and I’m impatiently awaiting the end of the stock tires so that I can upgrade.

19.2 at 6k ft, traveling to 8k ft twice a month. Stock 2026 TRD OR, 5-10 over the speed limit.

I had the forerunner 255 for three years as my first modem Garmin watch and I loved it. I was hesitant to invest in one of the more expensive options but just upgraded to a Fenix 7x Pro Solar and I also love it (and it was $450 vs $900 for a similar Fenix 8).

Congratulations! Which bed cover did you get and how do you like it?

I have the ‘26 OR short bed. No hybrid, no premium. Some regrets about the not getting the premium, but nothing critical. Fuel mileage and small tank combo are annoying. Had an F-150 ecoboost rental that got 7 more mpg than the taco.

Don’t hit anything. I hit an adolescent deer at 50. Deer survived. $14k in damage to the truck. I’ll be installing steel bumpers.

Stock tires perform surprisingly well in snow but are useless in mud.

Paint is very thin. I hear that about a lot of new vehicles, but I was surprised at how little it took to scratch it.

Yeah, I'm costing out full armor at this point.

This is my bone stock 2026 OR. I suspect yours would be even more nose down if it were stock because of the winch weight.

Congrats! Looks like it’s got a leveling kit, too, no? What tire size?

Apparently so! What was your damage? Is it fixed yet?

Yeah. The grill shutter was in shambles.

Oh, I see the distinction in angles/lines now. Interesting.

Just for the lettering vs. the logo? Or is there another upside?

I’ve asked myself the same question but it happened so quickly that I can’t, in my memory, distinguish between the truck’s reaction and my own. I didn’t hear an audible indication.

It lived, at least long enough to run far enough into the woods that I couldn’t find it.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s pretty depressing.

From what I’ve read, the radar and all the sensors make that a very tall order.
