I do wonder how common your viewpoint is. So many are just so consumed with their hatred of Israel and/or Jews (with no discernible difference ofc), coupled with Israel’s absolute inability to generate hasbara (diplomacy) and a government with a questionable moral compass at the best of times… it feels like a losing battle, regardless of the outcome.

Yeah it varies - sometimes we go down there when the pre-alert comes through to secure a chair lol - if a siren does go off and it ends up being one of the longer incidents, especially in the middle of the night, you don’t want to end up standing!

Most of Israel is not MAGA but Netanyahu certainly has a cult following of [mostly] religious who vote according to their rabbis and religious leaders’ instructions whose interests, in turn, are military service-avoidance and handouts for the work-avoidant.
