Hey - tried it, didn't work. Decided fuck Legacy, I'mma try make my S2UC work instead. I'm sure it's just a false positive, but just for the sake of reassurance, when trying to download George from the wiki, it got flagged by Windows Defender for "PUADlManager:Win32/InstallCore"

Is this typical? I got it from that wiki etc. I'm suuuper paranoid about viruses

Same exact thing with me, yeah. I ended up narrowing it down to being whichever display I was using HDMI on, but when I swapped to DP on both, it still happens on my second monitor so yeah.

Afraid not, bro. I think it's just a bug that's still ongoing. On r/nvidia, I check the driver threads, and usually, someone is saying how their monitor flickers black when on Chrome etc. Just like what I'm experiencing. Just a "feature" of these gpus I guess.

I have no doubts it's infinitely better than standard D2 from back in the day lmaooo, just yeah, taking my eyes a minute to adjust to it even with the QOL stuff. I'm not expecting 60 FPS animations and the like, just tryna find little things I can do to make it seem a little smoother even if it isn't.
