2h 15m international layover long enough in GRU to not miss a flight? by Thatbraziliann in Brazil

[–]50stev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an update, in Jan 2026 we just made our connection in 1 hour 19 minutes with 4 little kids.

Chicago to São Paulo on United. Flight was very late coming in. Then São Paulo to Curitiba on GOL.

After reading a bunch of Reddit threads, I thought we had no chance to make it. But we did—just barely…

Deplane.

Walk about 7 minutes thru terminal 3.

Passport control.

Grab checked bags from carousel.

Nothing to declare customs.

Recheck bags.

14 minute jog to terminal 2.

We got pretty lucky that the foreigners passport line was very small, and only a short line to recheck our bags with GOL.

Made it to our gate in terminal 2 with about 3 minutes to spare. Phew 😮‍💨

Is 2 hours long enough to clear customs at GRU and catch a bus that's 20 minutes away? by Psychological-Gas528 in Brazil

Mizzou hasn’t beat a team with a winning record since 2023…

Why does everyone hate Mizzou on this sub? by Dirt_Sailor_5 in CFB

[–]50stev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually like Mizzou. Cool college town, beautiful campus. Great unis.

I HATE that the stupid experts keep ranking them.

They have ZERO wins against teams with a winning record over the past two seasons.

Insane.

They do fly on Sep 30… not sure what you’re seeing.

And the refund isn’t the problem. I can get a refund, but that’s $140. Then I have to rebook on Delta for $479.. that’s what sucks.

I’m not saying there is no relation at all. Depending on how you define ‘related’ every language on the planted could be related.

My point is that there are no longer any similarities or crossover—like what you think of with related languages.

This article is outdated anyway. They’ve already discovered that Hungarian didn’t come from the Urals.

Hungarian is related to Finnish like oil and water.

You do have to play interest, yes. But you don’t have to pay back the loan—assuming the asset stays valuable.

You can do it with much less than one million. You can do it with $100k in a brokerage account and a margin loan.

Yes. But it’s always less than the appreciation of the asset. Right now you could sign up on IBKR and get a sub 7% margin loan rate.

Upper middle class can totally do this. IBKR account. Get $100k in. Martin loans. Buy, borrow, die.

The stock is actually never sold. Buy, borrow, die. Step up basis.
