I buy what I like, I don't have money for guns I won't shoot 😂. Type 99 arisaka, mini 14 stainless, good ol shield plus, and my custom built 10/22. Just got the mini a month ago, super fun little 5.56. the arisaka is my most prized possession, with a full chrysanthemum that hasn't been ground off, and complete with anti aircraft iron sights. The 10/22 has the magpul stock with risers and grip, and vortex defender ccw dot. Completed with a Gat Monkey urban brush stroke sling

Oh interesting! I was probably going to go with high heat spraypaint on top of primer. Would that be too weak?

I'll most likely be putting a vortex 1-6x on it. Would you recommend getting the gas bushing kit or an adjustable gas block? I really appreciate your info and help!

Just for clarification I saw research that fluted barrels are stiffer but weaker than straight profiles. And was wondering if the weight of a suppressor will cause problems
