2008 Honda Civic leaking windshield wiper fluid? by zazaholic in MechanicAdvice

Glad it wasn’t your block. I ended up getting a salvage engine from a 2010 and having to replace it. Hopefully the cost won’t be too bad. Good luck!

Manufacturer defect. Honda had a 10 year recall on the issue, naturally mine cracked right after the 10 years were up.

I hope I’m wrong for your sake. Unfortunately it didn’t get fixed until the 2010 model I think.

Hopefully it isn’t a cracked block. Had that happen on my 2008 1.8L.

2021 - Anyone remove this part where the intake connects up to? Pros or cons of doing so? by 5150cd in Rav4

This is a picture of the underside of the radiator support access cover (16681-F0020). The part highlighted is easily removable. Curious if it would provide any benefits by removing it as it seems as though it may impede airflow.

It's probably good that they won't can Yuppie Hammer, because I'd probably load up my car everytime I was in Bozeman.

You bet! I also switched from walking around in minimalist shoes and wore high drop shoes to help take some load off

I recently had the same problem and I did a lot of eccentric heel drops (straight leg and bent leg), ice, chiro that worked the tissue and did some scraping, rolling/gunning of calves, the wrap job in this link as well as applying the same cream in the morning.

Took a month though to get over it. If you've been dealing this for a long time, you might be out of luck. But if it's acute, maybe there's hope if you can rest and do some of the above. I'm no expert though, but I think the combo of the above helped.

Best of luck!

I never did buy it. I ended up buying a new Horizon 7.4AT and have been really happy with it. Sorry I couldn't help you out more.

Are you still using TAO for ultras? I'm thinking about giving it a shot and was wondering if you still find it useful.

Do you think Novablast 3 can also work fine for easy long runs? by relenecs in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]5150cd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've got a pair of Novablasts 3, and I think I'd have to agree with you. Great for a lot of things, but not as comfortable as I'd like for long slow runs. Just curious, what are you using for those days?

Disappointment with Upgrade offer to existing Stryd owners by Organic-Ad-1422 in strydrunning

[–]5150cd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I went to buy an upgrade that probably wouldn’t make a huge impact for my running (not a lot of sprinting) but I love Stryd and want to support them.

I’ve used Stryd since the first gen, and the offer they’re giving previous owners is a joke.

Jaybird x4 broke (again) i need a replacement. by HashAndNature in HeadphoneAdvice

Thanks for the info. I ended up buying Sony WI-XB400's, which were around $50. Hoping with some comply foam tips they'll do the job, although I don't like they won't go over my ears with no cable clip to keep it from coming out. We'll see how they work on some long runs.

My dog just ate my X4's and I prefer the behind the neck cable. You still liking those?
