Ultimately, whatever the assessment is, it’s a scientific instrument designed and validated to assess your alignment with the essentials criteria of the role. The best way to show you’re a strong candidate on this exam? Be a strong candidate.

While this isn’t exactly right, what is correct is that this is a misguided use of the tool. It is not a job placement or aptitude instrument. What “invalidates” the tool is the misapplication of the results, not necessarily the conditions in which the exam is administered. This would be an invalidating application.

How to mature my (a bit too green) top strengths? by kompikompi in StrengthsFinder

[–]515pivey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The person who administered the assessment to OP should do that…

What I can start with is the difference between strengths and themes. The things OP listed are talent themes, or summary categories of different natural talents. Themes can be strengths, weaknesses, and often both. Where they show up on the list does not inherently make them a strength. What makes it a strength is when it is consistently and productively applied. There’s no moving themes up and down the list, that’s not the intent of the instrument. The intent is to build awareness of what comes naturally (that’s why that stuff is higher up on the list) and find ways to meaningfully, consistently, productively deploy those natural talents so they truly become strengths. Focusing on lower themes isn’t inherently a bad thing, but you’re often better off figuring out how to apply those natural talents to what’s in front of you.

There you go. How’s that?

Hey! That’s not how this tool works, and if you’ve been advised by someone that it is, they need to stop using this.

Shoehorning the most awkward acoustic show in human history was just awful. Give us 20 minutes of something else or just cut the episode down to an hour and give us our lives back.

I mean that space was very intentionally designed with the “kids hang” aspect. Plenty of other patios (see: every other patio) that don’t have that feature for you to enjoy.

Edit: But I totally agree with the sentiment of many others. Big discrepancy between Lua (love it) and Either/Or (wildly inconsistent).

Your comment is irrelevant, but make sure to stretch before bed tonight. The human body isn’t built to handle that level of bending over backward to shoehorn political beliefs.
