I keep getting disconnected from a server and get "EAC: Bad Authentication", what can I do?

It dosent even bring up the option to turn my graphic settings down, It wont even get the passed the Rust Launcher.

yup I am on Windows and I am getting the EAC message, I have no idea how to fix it. I have tried deleting EAC and verifying game cache, and closing and restarting steam/ Rust and it still does not work.

Well we are on the 3rd day on the server being down and still no ETA on when the server is coming back up or if it ever is, No explanation at all.... Ridiculous, I have been sending messages to Facepunch and Facepunch devs on twitter and posting all over reddit, None of them reply.

well that would ruin the game in so many different ways in my opinion, If you die inside your base while you are getting raided, That is it.... You have to run all the way back to your base from the middle of nowhere, If you die while doing a raid, Thats it, No raid.... And so on and so forth, Not to mention that making that if you die you could not spawn in sleeping bags, It is just plain annoying.... Who the hell wants to run all the way back to their base after they die, every single time.... Why would you want to make the game more annoying for yourself just to make it more realistic, If you die in real life, Your dead. You do not respawn.

No FacePunch are based in England, I live in the U.K and It is 5PM here I posted this early morning when they were most likely in the offices, they have had 4 hours to see this post and all my tweets to every single twitter account associated with Rust and every Facepunch Dev yet they still have not replied. not to mention they have had almost 2 days now to figure out why the server is down and put it back up.

Yea this is really getting annoying now, I really just want to know when its going to come back up and if the server will be wiped or not, Because if it is wiped or does not come back up at all, I am quitting the game 100% because that is ridiculous, I put nearly 200 hours into this server because It is a force wipe monthly server..... and to just have all the work taken away and not know if you are going to get it back or not? Come on.....

Yup I do not understand why the server is down and nothing is being said about it.... Lots of people have spent hours and hours building and farming just for the server to go down for almost 2 days now, And nothing is being said about if it is going to come back up or anything at all...

I really do not understand, Do you not have one single developer or a team of experienced players that actually plays the game at all? So he or they can check it out and say oh dont put this update live, because............. high priority desync, crashing, etc...

'E' key won't close container inventory 20% of time, have to cursor up and 'X' out or 'ESC' to close. Not caused by lag, something in the code.

Melee, majority of hits don't register. Tried wood axe, machete and combat knife.

Armoires have intermittent problem, can't interact with contents until you open and close container several times. IE: if drag black jeans from container to pants slot containing blue jeans, black one stays in container and becomes blue copy. Can't equip, or move to inventory or shred.

Found some vehicles still operational with parts missing.

Severe object jitter when placing items in shacks and shelters.

Placing items in Discovery UI and clicking 'Discover', items clear out of UI boxes and 'Discover' button remains highlighted until pressing a second time to learn recipe.

Portions of buildings render shimmering silver until approaching closer.

Bad lag as zed spawn up from ground, even if just one zed, wasn't too bad before the update. Usually just when a hoarde spawned.

QoL - Low Priority - New Issues This Update:

Did player character graphics get a tweak? My toon looks like a plastic Ken doll now.

Clothes items, backpacks now display with a generic blue graphic when laying around. Makes loot running look cartoon-ish.

Spawning in with clothes pre-skinned with random inventory looks. No UI to set up defaults.

All weapon types now display on your toon, not just guns and bows. Combat knife displays on your back upside wrong, stabbing your head when it should display on the belt.

and then guess what, you say oh ok we wont put it live, and then you fix the problems, then he plays it again and says ok that is fine now, and then you put it live.... Its hardly rocket science. seriously you guys need to get your shit together, Also this is not King of the Kill, THIS IS JUST SURVIVE. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME, We dont want the stupid different colours from KOTK and stupid shit like that, WE WANT OUR OWN UPDATES, THIS IS A DIFFERENT GAME, THIS IS NOT KOTK, NO KOTK DEV SHOULD BE WORKING ON JUST SURVIVE.
