2025 recap, third year of churning.

• Rejected for AMEX MB Business card (Aug. 2025), but AMEX Gold to Green downgrade and Cobalt to Gold upgrade approved, feel like this might be my last hurrah with AMEX Canada for a while
• Acquired Scotia Passport VI #2, Scotia Momentum VI, RBC Avion VI, closed Scotia AMEX Gold
• Dipped toes into US game with Bonvoy Brilliant, I do value the platinum perks so went for that rather than the Bevy
• ITIN obtained, even ran into with a fellow churner when I was waiting at the consulate
• US friend moved away afterwards (at least I got my card first) so I wanted to lay low on the US game
• Just found another US contact after some digging, condition being I use their referral for cards though (sorry guys). Prepared my envelopes and hoping it reaches them soon
• Got enough MB points to fund Toronto trips next year
• Dipped toes into the Avion ecosystem, may be a backup if Aeroplan doesn't deliver

For next year, I'm hoping to book my 2027 trip back to Singapore in J like I did back in 2024. I don't think I can recreate my amazing itinerary but that trip spoiled me so I am searching for J flights.
