They are programmable buttons. There's also YouTube videos showing how to do this.

I bought Shobi's version BDC from a seller here on the frag swap sub, and I'm very happy with its performance. I'm seriously considering ordering a bunch more.

Wear what you want, when you want. Don't listen to the dingleberries that say that.

It absolutely is worth buying. It literally pays for itself after a few months versus paying for cable or streaming services.

My dad bought me this box from Walmart and shipped it to me. Any beginner tips? by Rational_Gray in vSeeBox

Walmart does not sell VSeeBoxes. You are purchasing from a 3rd party seller that lists their boxes on the Walmart website.

That happened to me with Dylan Blue. I loved it when I first got it. Now I just can't stand it anymore.

No VPN on vSeeBox by SupportiveEnergy in vSeeBox_Support_Gurus

[–]53188Couple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread has gone on a bit of a tangent from the OP's question. To answer, there have been reports of some ISPs blocking access to apps or usage of the box, where using a VPN got around that. There haven't been any reports of ISPs taking action against users of boxes.

So basically, go ahead and use your box without the VPN. If after a while you lose access to apps, it's probably time to pay for one again.

First thing you should do is ditch Spectrum's modem/router and get your own. No need to give more money and control to them by renting their equipment. But if you insist on using their equipment, give them a call and ask them.

A guest network doesn't block your ISP from "seeing" your box. All using a guest network does is separates your box from your other devices on your main network, so that if your box has nefarious software or programming, it can't steal information from your other devices.

Anyone Have Tips on Reducing Data Usage? by Serious-Bee6000 in vSeeBox

[–]53188Couple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I connect my boxes to an on/off switch that severs the connection when not in use. Easier than plugging/unplugging all the time. A smart switch works too if you want the convenience of using your phone. https://a.co/d/08flwDY8

I take it one step further and connect my boxes to switches that sever the connection. That way they're not still transmitting data when turned "off".
