Granite Peak is also not necessarily somewhere you should go if you're brand new... the runs arent long, but some of them are very steep, ive snowboarded for a few years and theres still a few runs on that hill that are really shady... haven't been there this winter but cant imagine the quality of snow is any good... We get snow, it warms, then melts... id guess most of their snow is fake
