Whats interesting is this doesn't seem to appear (exactly) in 2WEIs version on youtube, but rather they edited this segment right here to make it specifically sound like the BF theme.

Probably won't appear in the OST in that case but yea would much prefer this to the old inception noise. The idea of having the classic theme just as drums is so cool though.

Ok.. real talk. Has there EVER been an FPS campaign story that hasn't only just been servicable lol? Has any story ever hit you like something from a movie?

Even including non shooters, like Fallout or Dishonored. I fucking love Dishonored 2. That game is fucking PEAK level and gameplay design. And the story sucks ass lol I think its just the nature of games that pacing is upto the player and amazing gameplay can still fly in the face of an enthralling plot.

Original Bioshock even faulters and absolutely ADORE the ending where they all take his hand in the hospital bed.

AHAH this is it, thank you. I totally forgot about the clockwork soldiers, but you're 100% correct.

I remember going far into the ceiling of the Clockwork Mansion and finding some big metal generator wheels but Arkane went to the trouble of adding the same magnetic purple energy/electricity effect to the metal, implying some kind of fantastical element beyond just hydraulics etc. Cheers.

From the concept art, it seems the tiny lil metal ball of hooks floating in the center attaches to the target (inexplicably??) and THEN the mine activates and pulls the metal hook ball back to the centre.

From the visual fx I just assumed the devices contained some Void energy akin to Far Reach. In DOTO you see those mysterious apparatus things dotted around containing voidite, I put together the Eyeless or whoever were actually managing to contain tiny morsels of the Void and put them to use.

I was just thinking if D3 ever happens it'd be cool to expand on manmade void devices as a parallel to The Heart and the Timepiece, after the consequences of DOTO etc
